Death is like a great ocean, and we are on this shore seeing people depart. But every ocean has two shores, and every person we see depart is seen as arriving on that other shore. Death is not the end.

God bless all those who will love and support their imperfect shepherds, not because they are always right or constantly deserving, but simply for Jesus’ sake. Pray for your pastor. Speak up for him.

"Not too cold. Not too hot. But just right."

God is all-powerful, King, Creator, Holy, All-Knowing, Ruler and Lord. But all of God’s attributes and names are wrapped in the skin of a Father. God the Father gave you life, uniquely created you, adores you, and has spanned heaven and hearth to be with you.

When husband and wife are mutually committed to being God’s people for each other, marriage soars.

God begins to come alive to you. In a very real and tangible way, God speaks to you. Now, when God speaks to you, I’m not talking about some new word from God.

If you want to grow in being a good husband, try publicly praising and affirming your wife. As a pastor, this is a way of modeling to your congregation what it means to live out your admiration for her.

When the leader doesn’t know what to do and/or doesn’t have a clue what to do next, here are some suggestions for any overwhelmed leader.
