Rainsticks Craft for Preteens (cont.)

Next read aloud Genesis 9:16. “Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”

Say: After God sent rains that flooded the earth, he promised to never again flood the earth. And he never has! Then God created a rainbow so that whenever we see one, we’ll remember God’s promise.

Have kids decorate their rainsticks with rainbows. They can display these fun instruments to remind them of God’s promise in Genesis 9:16.
