5. You must know how to recognize other people’s gifts.

Then be sure to maximize and implement them. Don’t waste potential!

6. You have to know how to reproduce yourself in others.

Don’t try to fly solo.

7. You need to communicate truth and vision simply to adults and kids.

Don’t talk down to people. Do be clear and straightforward.

8. You need to work well with the youth pastor.

I love our youth pastor. He loves God, has a wonderful family, and is a team player. And I so appreciate everything he does.

9. You need to have A.D.D.

Well, that may not be a requirement, but it does help. Almost every children’s pastor I know has a touch of hyperactive energy.
