It was then that he realized, “Wait a minute, what’s my problem? Oh yeah, I haven’t opened the Word in two days. I’m guilty of that. So I pray, ‘Lord, help me stay in your Word and learn your instructions for what’s next.’”
ChurchLeaders concluded the interview by asking Fuller how people can be praying for him.
“Man, that really means a lot,” he replied. “Pray that the fire stays ignited. Some days on tour can get monotonous and feel a little zombie-like—doing the same thing over and over again.” But, Fuller explained, “it’s not the same thing, because God sends somebody new every single night who needs to know about his love.”
Fuller asked, “Pray that the fire—that the coals—burn hot inside me and the band, that we keep praising him with everything we’ve got.”
