“Not My Jesus” aims to “reject false views of Jesus and discover who the real Jesus is found in the Scriptures because He’s the King of Kings. He’s the Lord of Lords. He’s the one who can save us and transform us,” said Pruitt.

When asked why he wrote two version of the study, one of them being for adults, Pruitt answered, “Because if young people have a bad view of Jesus, it came from somewhere, typically an adult in their life.”

“So it’s really a study whole families can do together, whole churches can do together, because there is that version geared toward teenagers and that version geared toward adults,” he added.
