“I’ve found my good thing,” Crawford posted one week later. He referenced Proverbs 18:22, which states, “He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.” Crawford later shared a video of his “best man,” his dog Moses, wearing a tuxedo for the proposal.
In previous videos and podcasts, Crawford has revealed that he’s a virgin and is waiting until marriage to have sex. The influencer describes sex as a “beautiful thing” and a “gift from God,” saying he and Maddy respect each other enough to set boundaries.

Bryce Crawford Prayed for Wisdom About Dating
Recounting how he met his now-fiancée, Bryce Crawford said he had a crush on Maddy Dodd all through high school, but she didn’t know who he was. He introduced himself to her during a Bible study and soon went on a middle-of-the-night road trip with her and some friends. Crawford “pounded energy drink” so he could stay awake and keep getting to know her.
On Lecrae’s podcast last month, Crawford said he prayed for wisdom before starting to date Maddy. “God, can I take your daughter out for a date?” he recalled asking. By contrast, Crawford said, lots of guys go “poking” at girls’ hearts.
Because he isn’t married yet, Crawford said he can’t give lots of relationship advice. But he encouraged women not to “settle for less,” because “more godly men…do exist.” He emphasized the need to find Christian mentors, including married couples.
Crawford, a Georgia native who now lives in Los Angeles, grew up in a Christian home but says he was saved at age 17. After years of struggling with vices and mental health issues, the teen decided to kill himself on Christmas Day.
While eating a last meal at Waffle House, Crawford ended up talking with someone whose marriage was falling apart. That man mentioned, “There’s no growth in a relationship if the love isn’t mutual.”
Although the man didn’t Jesus, Crawford believes God was speaking to his own heart that day. He felt incredible peace, asked God to take away his “crippling anxiety and depression,” and has been telling others about Jesus ever since. On TikTok, Crawford has 3.4 million followers.
