During an upcoming interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters, Turning Point USA’s (TPUSA) Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk’s widow, answers whether she feels safe in light of her husband’s assassination.
On Sept. 10, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson allegedly shot and killed TPUSA cofounder Charlie Kirk, 31, while he was speaking during his The American Comeback Tour stop at Utah Valley University. Charlie was shot in the neck by the assailant from the roof of a building an estimated 200 yards away.
The assassination took place in front of approximately 3,000 men, women, and children.
On Sept. 18, Erika was named TPUSA’s new CEO and chair of the board. A few days later, Erika forgave her husband’s assassin in front of millions during Charlie’s memorial service.

“Do you feel safe?” Watters asked Erika in a preview clip of the interview.
“What are they gonna threaten me with? Going to heaven sooner to be with my husband?” Erika replied. “I don’t say that to be reckless. I do not. I do not say that because I’m out in the streets like, ‘Here I am. Come find me.’”
“We never lived in fear. If we did, we wouldn’t get anything done.”
Erika Kirk is “not afraid” because she knows “I will have my day and my time…when the Lord knows that I’ve completed my mission.”

Erika explained, “It’s a fearlessness that’s rooted in the understanding that I will have my day and my time—whenever that is—when the Lord knows that I’ve completed my mission.”
“I’m not afraid. Charlie wasn’t afraid either. We never lived in fear. If we did, we wouldn’t get anything done,” Erika told Watters.
