Grammy Award-winning artist Tori Kelly and her husband, André Murillo, have welcomed their first child into the world.
Kelly, 32, announced the birth in a joint Instagram post with Murillo. Born on Nov. 11, the child’s name is Zayden Michael Murillo. In the post’s caption, Kelly wrote, “we love you so much, sweet boy.”
Kelly revealed in July that she was expecting her first child, referring to the child as a “little miracle.”

Kelly and Murillo have been married since 2018.
Kelly, who first gained recognition on YouTube before competing on the ninth season of “American Idol,” has long been vocal about her Christian faith. Through the years she has collaborated with several Christian artists, including Lecrae, Forrest Frank, NEEDTOBREATHE, and for KING + COUNTRY.
Kelly’s albums include “Unbreakable Smile,” “Hiding Place,” Inspired by True Events,” “A Tori Kelly Christmas,” and “Tori.”
In addition to three Grammy Awards, Kelly has earned one GMA Dove Award.
In 2019, Kelly received Grammys for Best Gospel Performance/Song and for Best Gospel Album. When she accepted her Grammy for her song “Never Alone,” she said, “I have to thank Jesus. Thank you so much for everything.”
In 2023, Kelly suffered a significant health scare, spending more than a week in the hospital after collapsing due to blood clots.

“Its been a scary few days,” Kelly said of the experience, “but I can feel your prayers and can’t stop thinking about you. I’m feeling stronger now and hopeful, but unfortunately there are still some things to uncover.”
