Christian Hip-Hop’s Derek Minor Responds to Forrest Frank’s Concerns About Chart-Topping AI Artist

“The Ai conversation is complicated but it’s not ‘spiritually complicated’. It’s the same as it’s always been. Judge the artist by their fruit,” said Minor. “The bible says that gifts and callings come without repentance. There’s people with terrible character that have made big Christian songs that people are moved by because God can use who or what he wants to get his point across. Even AI.”

In the comments of his post, Minor further clarified his perspective. “Here’s what I’m NOT saying,” he said, explaining:

    1. I’m NOT saying Support AI built off the backs of artists without their consent
    2. Im NOT saying that I want to hear your AI slop song with no artist value.
    3. I’m NOT saying that just because people with low character have made some Christian hits that character doesn’t matter. I’m just pointing out the OBVIOUS.
    4. I’m not saying i dislike Forrest frank 🚫💨
