Director David Kano: ‘I Need Jesus’

David Kano, director of “Concussed: The American Dream,” said he and Favre plan to keep talking about sports and life on their podcast but also want to share “the good news.”

While wrapping up the year-end episode of “Fourth & Favre,” co-host Kano said, “We’ve also had our share of haters in this world. And what the Bible says is to not just love those that love you. Jesus didn’t say to love just your neighbor. [The Bible] says to love your enemies as well.”

Kano concluded with the words of Romans 6:23, noting, “For someone like me, I need the cross. I need Jesus. I need somebody not so I can go out and do sin and then just say sorry.” He added, “There’s something that I need to change innately about myself, because there’s a flesh in me that it’s hard for me to control. And I can only do that through the free gift that Jesus gives through God’s grace.”
