Reality TV star Khloé Kardashian recently devoted an entire episode of her podcast to the topic “Why I Believe.” The media influencer said she loves discussing faith, calling it “something that you really feel” and something that has “literally saved my life in so many ways.”

Kardashian, 41, said she learned about the importance of faith from her father—and works to pass it down to her own two children. The single mother, who just celebrated four years of celibacy, grew up attending Christian schools. For her kids, she brings a “Bible study teacher” to her house weekly for lessons.

Although Kardashian’s upbringing involved weekly worship and Sunday school, her current relationship with God is based “not so much in a church but very much so within myself, with myself.”

She told viewers, “I don’t care who you are, what you believe in, what you want to call yourself. I just love that you believe in something. I’m a child of God, and I believe in God and that Jesus is the Son of God, and that’s my belief system. And it’s something that gets me through every day, good or bad.”

Khloé Kardashian on the Value of Prayer and Scripture

On her “Khloé in Wonderland” episode about faith—a topic that viewers had requested—Khloé Kardashian emphasized the benefits of talking to God. “Praying is such a special moment that you have with your higher being,” she said. “And I think that all of us probably have faith in so many different ways.”

There’s “no wrong way to pray,” Kardashian said, and “faith and spirituality [aren’t] about perfection. [They’re] about wonder and navigating and trying new routes that make you feel connected…There’s not a one-size-fits-all. There’s not a right way to do anything.”

Prayer is an important part of Kardashian’s daily routine, and she agrees with loved ones who think she has “a line to God.” She said, “My faith does not waver. I know [God] hears me, and I’m going to pray until the cows come home or until Jesus comes back.”

The influencer is proud that her prayers are filled with gratitude, not just requests and needs. She recommends a “loose” format for praying, saying, “I genuinely like really just having a conversation with God or my angels.”

Calling prayer her “security blanket,” Kardashian said, “I love trusting what the universe brings me, and the universe is God controlling.” She added, “If my life wasn’t anchored in faith, I don’t even know what kind of life that would be. It would be so dark and scary. I turn to God every single day, multiple times a day, and I love it.”
