Brandon Lake Tells Grammys ‘Hard Fought Hallelujah’ Has Saved ‘Countless’ Lives

As Lake concluded his speech, he offered a message of hope and peace that he said can only be found in Jesus.

“Most important thing I could say is this world is cray cray right now. But I was reminded of this Scripture this morning, John 16:33: ‘I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble, but take heart I have overcome the world,’” Lake said. “He’s overcome, so that means we can too through Christ.”

Steven Furtick Reacts to Winning a Grammy Award

Holly Furtick, who co-pastors alongside her husband, Steven Furtick, shared a video of him watching the live announcement of his Grammy win.

Steven Furtick is the founder and lead pastor of Elevation Church, a multisite megachurch located in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is also one of the songwriters on “Hard Fought Hallelujah.”

When his song was announced as the winner, the megachurch pastor shouted with joy and celebrated with his family.
