“Yeah,” Duggar responded, “and I think I had like $60 bucks on—I actually had $50 bucks in my wallet when I came. So, I had $60 bucks total here. But right now, I can at least, you know, use that to call. I’m not going to use it for anything else [but] call.”
“So, it costs money for you to call me each time?” she asked.

While Duggar confirmed that is the case, he said that he didn’t need any more money at this time but asked Kendra to discuss it with Travis.
During the call, Kendra asked her husband how he is holding up, and he shared that he is in solitary confinement for all but one hour of the day.
“I’m all right. I mean, I’ve been spending a lot of time praying and reading [the] Bible. They got me a Bible in here, so I’m in solitary,” Duggar shared. “I’m in the cell for 23 hours of the day. So, it’s like an 8 by 10 area. Pretty small area, but I’ve been able to read a lot, actually been resting some, but I’m not sleeping great through the night.”
“But it’s good to hear your voice,” he added.
She too said, “It’s good to hear from you.”
The conversation then shifted to how Kendra would retrieve her husband’s belongings from jail.
“Has Travis talked to you about releasing your belongings to me so I can get your phone?” Kendra inquired. Duggar replied, “Oh, no. Tell him to reach out to me maybe or something.”
“Yeah, I think we need to figure out how I can get your phone,” she said. “I got your iPad. I’m going to, I’m trying to work through some of the list that you gave me.”
Duggar said, “Okay. Yeah, if you have any passwords and stuff, just talk through Travis and we’ll get those to you so you can take over everything that you need to.”
Kendra is currently not allowed to have any contact with her children and is staying at an undisclosed location.
“Did you hear that I’m out here with—did you hear where I’m at and everything?” Kendra asked. Duggar told her that he didn’t know but wasn’t sure she should say it over the phone.
