Pending approval from Arapahoe County, developer DHI Communities is under contract to buy the 32.2-acre property, valued at $12.2 million. DHI has submitted a general development plan to the county, requesting to rezone the site and build a residential development of “345 apartment units, 168 paired homes, a five-acre public park, and a wireless communications facility to replace the existing building-mounted cellular antennas.” County leaders are holding public hearings as they move forward with the approval process.
