Pending approval from Arapahoe County, developer DHI Communities is under contract to buy the 32.2-acre property, valued at $12.2 million. DHI has submitted a general development plan to the county, requesting to rezone the site and build a residential development of “345 apartment units, 168 paired homes, a five-acre public park, and a wireless communications facility to replace the existing building-mounted cellular antennas.” County leaders are holding public hearings as they move forward with the approval process. 

Regardless of what you think about holding church services exclusively online, there is no doubt that, as Touré Roberts observed, “COVID-19 forced every church in America to rethink how to best serve their parishioners and the broader community.”
