Ethridge has now been charged with felony civil disorder along with several related misdemeanors. Those misdemeanor charges include obstruction of an official proceeding, entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building.
Ethridge has since apparently removed all of his tweets, apart from a 2020 tweet, which reads, “#COVID-19 is psychological warfare.”

More than a year after the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol took place, Americans continue to dispute the facts of what occurred that day, including division among evangelicals.
While a number of Christian leaders have denounced the riot, along with the symbolism of Christian nationalism that featured heavily on that day, others continue to minimize the violence that occurred, wherein 5 lost their lives and hundreds others were injured.
Some blame the bloodshed on a false flag operation conducted by Antifa. Evidence that would support that claim has yet to surface.
