Political commentator and former Trump administration official William Wolfe tweeted that Tate is “wicked and degenerate” and that “Tucker should never have platformed him.” Wolfe added, “Christian men, those who speak to the issues plaguing young men, and aspiring role models should recognize that [Tate’s] appeal is due, in large part, to the acidic and sinful feminization of society—and the church.”
The solution, Wolfe said, is to offer “a true and robust vision of masculinity that rightly honors women, embraces the real creation order distinctions between men and women, calls men to embrace a ‘masculine Christianity,’ and drives them on to fulfill their calling as dominion-takers and creators in God’s good world.”
Radio host Erick Erickson, who has served as a political campaign manager, said, “Tate is charged in Romania with rape, human trafficking, and forming an organised crime group to sexually exploit women. Are you an Andrew Tate right winger or a Sound of Freedom right winger. You can’t really be both.”
