Danica McKellar’s Advent Devotional Features Bible Passage That ‘Perfectly’ Sums Up Joy

During that livestream, McKellar said she had not yet gotten to Philippians in her Scripture reading but that she expects her favorite Bible verse will come from that book of the Bible. “I’m just absorbing it all right now,” she said, “but I haven’t settled on any favorites. My guess is that my favorites are going to come from the New Testament, which I haven’t gotten to yet. I’ve heard a lot of things from Philippians that I just love.”

“I’m looking forward to getting to that one because I know there’s a lot in there,” McKellar added. “My favorite verses will come from there, I’m almost positive.”

In her Advent video, McKellar observed, “I’ve always been a worrier,” and pointed out that the Philippians passage she was reading emphasizes thanksgiving. She concluded her devotional by wishing viewers, “Merry Christmas!”
