Lecrae posted a photo of himself standing near an NBC logo to promote his interview on the “TODAY” show.

“Let me tell you the truth,” he wrote. “I started this post off with a pic of my upcoming interview on NBC because I thought ‘people need to know you’re still active & relevant.’ But searching my heart I found the deeper underlying motive is wanting to feel needed. Wanting to reassure myself that I matter because of course if a major network interviews you, then you still matter right?”

“So as I’m wrestling thru this I remember the Creator of the universe Himself is always requesting my presence. ‘Hey LECRAE when you’re done vying for the approval of people (that I created by the way)…I’d love to hang with you,” he continued. “Prompted me to sit in his presence and read his words. They give life.”

Lecrae will be featured on the Winter Jam 2024 tour alongside CrowderKaty Nicole, Cain, NewSong, and Seventh Day Slumber. The tour begins on Jan. 12 in Mobile, Alabama, and will makes stops in 39 cities throughout the eastern U.S.
