Since winning the College Football Playoff National Championship game, Harbaugh has been interviewed for the Atlanta Falcons’ head coaching vacancy, which could mean that a return to the NFL is a possibility for him, despite him still having years left on his contract with Michigan.
Root asked the coach what keeps him grounded in the midst of being sought out by multiple NFL teams.
“I just take the counsel from God and the Holy Spirit,” Harbaugh replied. Harbaugh also said that he relies on the wise counsel from his father, Jack, and his wife, Sarah. “Just living one day at a time,” he said. “One day at a time, one game at a time, and one play at a time.”
