Some people said their tattoos proclaim their passions, including God. Others who work in fields where it’s difficult to wear a wedding ring said they’ve had one tattooed on their finger.

Yet others were on the fence. They wrote that although tattoos aren’t sinful because “no one is saved or lost because of them,” the permanent markings defile God’s temple (1 Corinthians 6:19).
