Scottie Scheffler had admitted that looming parenthood hadn’t really “hit either of us quite yet.” He added, “I really can’t put into words what it’s going to be like to be a father for the first time.”
As ChurchLeaders has reported, Scheffler’s support system also includes caddy Ted Scott, a Christian he met at a Bible study. “The guy is special,” Scott said of Scheffler after Sunday’s win. “He’s a different kind of special. I think we’re all seeing it, and we’re all questioning where did this come from?”
