The Roys Report also obtained audio from an April 16 Orange staff meeting in which Manby answered employees’ questions about the situation. He said the organization had hired “a world-class PR firm” to help with messaging and that employees would all serve as “ambassadors.”
Manby encouraged staff to “pivot to the positive—that nothing has changed about Orange and its mission.” He also indicated that Orange’s own internal investigation was “complete.” But then at a May staff meeting, interim president Clear brought up the independent third-party investigation, saying a firm would be chosen soon.
