“I showed you a picture of my son with Santa. Please delete that and don’t do anything shameful with it,” said another person. “I don’t care about anything other than that. That’s my baby…l shouldn’t have sent that thinking I knew you.”
On Wednesday, Jennifer’s account was deleted—but then it was reactivated again that day. Wednesday evening, Jennifer posted a second apology in which she claimed that multiple people had been running her account, news that alarmed her followers all over again.
Some wanted to know if it actually was her that they had spoken to in the past, and Jennifer replied that she thought so but wasn’t entirely sure. “I think it was mostly me,” she told one person. One user said that Jennifer had told her it was two people running the account, not four.
“A horrifying realization for some right now— if more than one person was running the account, who was answering their DMs?” Duff said. “Is Hannifer even a credible witness when she says it was ‘most likely’ her? This is screwed up on so many levels.”
“Please hear me when I say this— Patriarchy Hannah is a deeply troubled individual who has previously been arrested for identity theft and has just been exposed as a complete fraud,” Duff posted Tuesday in response to Jennifer’s first apology. “She exhibits many behaviors of a psychopath and this is the next play to try and recover what was lost. Do not fall for it. Any inch you give in her life she will take a mile. I’m really tired of seeing well-intentioned people get repeatedly caught up in stuff like this.”
Reacting to Jennifer’s second apology, Duff said, “She claims that 4 people were running the page, yet all signs point back to her. It was always her house. She was always posting pics of where Jennifer lived.”
“This woman is a compulsive liar and I sincerely think she cannot tell the truth even if she tried. This is not an excuse, it’s just a reality and she needs help,” Duff continued. “Unfortunately what we’re seeing now is typical of narcissists. She’s running the DARVO playbook. The apologies are weak and don’t take ownership, she denies it was just her…and she’s playing victim and making it a sob story.”
On Wednesday, a woman claiming to be Jennifer joined an X Space hosted by groypers who used vulgar language, defended her, and mocked people who were taken in by “Patriarchy Hannah.” At one point, one person said everyone attacking Jennifer was “kinda gay.”
Jennifer, who joined under an alt account despite previously claiming she has no alt accounts, dropped f-bombs throughout the conversation and said the Patriarchy Hannah profile was a “joke” and a “creative writing project.” She cried periodically during the discussion. “People are really upset about it, and I am remorseful of that,” she said.
While she has no children of her own, Jennifer said that she does take care of her partner’s children, commenting at one point, “The groypers will be glad to know I don’t have any Black children.”
