Jane Doe #2’s lawsuit stated, “Plaintiff is informed and believes that [Reginald Wayne Miller’s] predatory behavior spans decades and that his son, [John-Paul Miller], learned and adopted his father’s abusive practices.”
The suit mentions the elder Miller’s 2006 arrest for trying to solicit a prostitute in a city park. It also mentions a TV station’s five-part investigative report in 1989 “detailing serious allegations of sexual misconduct involving [Reginald Wayne Miller] and students from his Bible college.” In 2014, the elder Miller was arrested on suspicion of federal labor violations, pertaining to foreign students at his Cathedral Bible College.

The combination of John-Paul’s “known predatory behavior” and Reginald Wayne’s “past allegations” created and “fostered a culture of complicity,” according to the filing. It adds that defendants “chose to enable [John-Paul Miller] to treat the church and CHA as his hunting area for under-age females.”
Jane Doe #2, who requested a jury trial, is seeking actual and punitive damages. The defendants have 30 days to respond to the complaint.
