“I didn’t give him time to pour into me,” recalled Sheen.

Sheen worked to distract herself from the anxiety—but without replacing it with God’s truth. That night, she ended up experiencing the “worst panic attack of my life.” It was “so scary” as Sheen had convinced herself she had died.

“God is so much bigger than anxiety,” said Sheen as she recalled when she felt like her “panic was bigger than God.” The deep feelings of her attack felt like “her anxiety was too big for God” at that moment.

She tried everything: playing “The Blessing,” her favorite worship song, and calling her “sisters in Christ.” Her friends on the phone encouraged her to “speak out every single lie” and repent from believing the lie. Together, they found truths from Scripture that addressed each lie. Her friends asked Sheen to speak the Scriptures out loud.

“The power of God that I experienced was unexplainable,” recalled Sheen. “The only way I was okay again was because of Jesus.”

She realized that she would never have experienced God’s power and deliverance from her anxiety if she had not walked through such a powerful transformation. She said, “His power is made perfect in my weakness.”

“I pray you always remember that God is always right by your side and he will never leave you,” Sheen said. “He is bigger than anything you are facing, no matter how big it seems.”

How Sheen’s Faith Journey Began

Recently, Sheen joined her mom, Denise Richards, on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” The duo talked about how Sheen and her sister, Sami, planned a simple birthday party for Richards. The sisters are quite different from each other.

Sheen went on to talk about her faith. She began, “When I was 18, I struggled with a lot of depression and anxiety, and I never really felt like I had someone that would be there for me when I was at my worst moments.”

But that all changed one night. “I had a supernatural encounter with Jesus,” Sheen said. “And he saved my life. He made life worth living.”

Sheen embraced the fact that Jesus chose her even when she “didn’t feel worthy to be chosen.”

“I just wanna tell everybody about how good he is,” said Sheen. Richards shared that Lola “found her journey on her own.”
