Soliman told authorities that he specifically targeted a “Zionist group” and that he wanted to “kill all Zionist people.” Victims’ ages range from 52 to 88, and their injuries from the attack range from minor to severe. As Hogue noted, one of the victims was a Holocaust survivor.
The attack comes less than two weeks after Israeli Embassy employees Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim were fatally shot outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. Notably, the man who killed them also yelled, “Free Palestine.”
Moreover, the Boulder attack follows the 2021 shooting that occurred at a King Soopers in Boulder when a gunman opened fire at the grocery store, killing 10 people, including a police officer.

There is no indication as of yet that Soliman is connected to a particular terrorist group, and authorities currently believe that he acted alone. He is being held on a $10 million bond and has been charged with a federal hate crime in addition to a number of state charges, including attempted murder. Michalek said, “The FBI is investigating this as an act of terrorism.”
Boulder Attack Widely Condemned
President Donald Trump condemned the Boulder attack while tying it to his stated goal of deporting illegal immigrants in the interest of national security. “Yesterday’s horrific attack in Boulder, Colorado, WILL NOT BE TOLERATED in the United States of America,” he said. “My heart goes out to the victims of this terrible tragedy, and the Great People of Boulder, Colorado!”
“Antisemitism is not a political issue; it is a moral and spiritual crisis. We condemn it in all its forms,” CCU President Hogue said in his statement. “Now is not the time for silence. As evil seeks to intimidate and divide, people of faith must respond—not with fear, but with faithful clarity.”
Greg Laurie, pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California, said, “I’m here in Jerusalem, reading about yet more acts of antisemitism around the world.”
“Yesterday, we had the honor of donating an armored ambulance to the State of Israel in the name of Jesus,” he continued. “Where else but here would such a vehicle be necessary? Terrorists have deliberately targeted first responders—those rushing to help others in crisis.”
“As Christians, we cannot remain silent,” said Laurie. “We must speak out against this evil and stand up for our Jewish friends. So much of the hatred they face is rooted in ignorance and lies.”
Dare 2 Share founder Greg Stier commented, “This is 30 minutes away from my house. Horrific. I landed in Munich to this terrible news.”
