McLean Bible Church Is Now ‘Larger & Healthier’
ChurchLeaders also reached out to McLean Bible Church for comment and will update this article with any reply.
“The past four years have been hard,” Burnett wrote in his conclusion. “It is okay to say that. It is also okay to acknowledge the harms that have been done against the church and to express our faith that God will use even these things for our good and for His glory.”
MBC, “by God’s grace alone,” is now “larger and healthier” than when the turmoil began, Burnett noted. “Most importantly, we have grown in our commitment to biblical health as a church family.”
He told congregants that MBC has work ahead—not only to spread the gospel but to protect itself from division, “given the increasing diversity of our church and the increasing polarization of our country.”
