Michelle Duggar not only supported her daughter during the labor and delivery but also stayed with Seewald after the birth to help with the baby throughout the night so that Seewald could have more time to sleep.
The Seewalds’ new baby was born right around 9:30 p.m. on July 26. Seewald experienced a “flood of emotion” at her baby’s birth, breaking down crying.
“There’s nothing like those first few moments right after a baby is born,” she said. “As a mother, you’re just overwhelmed with joy, relieved that all of that labor is behind you, that baby is here, that everything is good.”

Seewald said that this time, her fears for her baby after her water broke heightened the emotion she felt when the baby was delivered. She “was hit with an extra surge of emotion when baby was born and everything was ok, and I just sobbed like a baby. I just cried.”
“It was such a beautiful moment, and we’re so thankful,” said Seewald.
