Reba McEntire’s Impactful Music Career
After recording 32 studio albums, 26 compilation albums, and two live albums, Reba McEntire is easily one of the most accomplished country music artists of all time. She has earned more than 80 awards throughout her career.
She’s not slowing down all that much. Her last album, “Not That Fancy,” was released in 2023. McEntire has added mentoring opportunities and special appearances to her schedule.
As a coach on “The Voice,” McEntire quickly turned her chair when contestant Creigh Riepe sang Benson Boone’s Song, “Beautiful Things.”
Throughout Season 26 of the reality show, Riepe was on Team Reba—receiving encouragement and constructive coaching from the country music legend.
He shared, “POV: You come across Season 26 contestants of ‘The Voice’ having an impromptu church service by the pool,” in a post featuring a video of multiple contestants singing “The Blessing.”
McEntire also had the “honor and privilege” to sing at President George H.W. Bush’s funeral in 2018. The country artist sang a rendition of “The Lord’s Prayer” that was moving and brought President George W. Bush to tears.
“He was a great friend and leader and I will never forget the time we shared together,” posted McEntire of the late president after she sang.
