The Seewalds, who had nine days to come up with a name before the hospital needed to file paperwork for the birth certificate, took their son home to be with his siblings. Sisters Ivy and Fern loved their chances to hold the new baby.
“Patrick is a good name,” said Ivy, while Fern said, “I want to call him Edward.” Brother Spurgeon also wanted to call the new baby Edward.

Jessa shared that when people would ask her mother, Michelle, how the Duggars showed love to all their kids and made each one feel special, Michelle would say, “Love multiplies; it doesn’t divide.”
“I have seen that ring so true,” said Jessa. Baby Edward is “a very loved little guy.”
