“They know my stuff. Like I’ve kind of been known for saying the Civil Rights Act was a mistake, and they just push it a little bit more,” Kirk said. “And honestly, I was like, credit to you guys. I think that’s absolutely hilarious.”
As his show concluded, Kirk gave his final thoughts on the episode. “I want to say I thought the episode was very mean and nasty to people I like, like Kristi Noem and J.D. Vance and Trump,” Kirk reflected. “But towards me, honestly, like part of it was whatever, part of it was absolutely hilarious.” He continued, “And I gotta tell you, the water bottle was—that was next level notice, man. I gotta tell you, the little sip and the mic going down, the Bible to the side [and] Jeremiah 1:5—chef’s kiss.”
Kirk has started selling “Master Debater” shirts at his online store for $39.95. A portion of the proceeds will help fund Kirk’s campus tour this fall.
