Gavin Newsom’s Trump Parodying ‘Patriot Shop’ Includes ‘Sold Out’ Bible

That Bible includes the King James Version, along with the Bill of Rights, the U.S. Constitution and lyrics to Greenwood’s hit song. A disclosure from the White House in June revealed that Trump had made $1.3 million in royalties due to endorsing that Bible.

Minutes after he posted his Aug. 24 announcement about the Patriot Shop, Newsom posted again, saying, “WOW! Bible already sold out!!”

ChurchLeaders reached out to Gov. Gavin Newsom for comment regarding whether or not his online store had actually sold any Bibles. Lindsey Cobia, advisor to Newsom’s Campaign for Democracy, replied, “We look forward to Donald Trump’s recall and customer refund of the Trump Big Beautiiful [sic] Bible, at your suggestion.”

The Patriot Shop states that merchandise purchases are donations to the Campaign for Democracy.
