Matthew West Removes ‘Honey’ Parody and Apologizes to Forrest Frank: ‘We Handled It In a Biblical Way’

“So when we talked, I just apologized,” West said. “[I] took the video down. It felt like we handled it in a biblical way—when someone offends, you go to that person, and then that person apologizes.”

Frank did ask West to if West wanted to do a collaboration on a song, but after West listened to what Frank sent him, West told Frank he “didn’t really have a peace” about doing the song.

Before concluding his video, West said that he hopes “we can all celebrate each other, especially when we’re out there telling people about Jesus, because he’s the answer, and that’s the business we need to be about—so I’m getting back to that business, and want to just thank you all for your love and support.”

“You guys are the best,” West said. “Don’t stop praying.”
