Describing how he was hesitant to publish his post calling Asbury and others out, Frank shared, “I was sitting back and I wasn’t gonna post it because I knew that it wasn’t gonna be necessarily a good look—I had actually decided that I was going to delete it.”

But before he could, Frank told his 5 million Instagram followers that “Cory had actually reached out to me [and] said, ‘Hey, man, I saw the [vasectomy] post is going kind of crazy. My team is reading through some of these comments, and if you’re offended by it, let me know. I’ll take it down.’”

Frank shared a screenshot of a text he sent Asbury:

DUDEEE. I’m so glad you texted me. means a lot. It definitely hurt my feelings, but i was gonna use it as an opportunity to thicken my skin. Don’t feel like you have to edit your life for my sake. I think the 2 things that made me the most sad were 1) Picturing my wife’s daily tears during that season & not knowing if i would ever be able to hold my son again the same way. Frank continued telling the story, saying, “I was kind of owning the fact that, like, hey, maybe I’m sensitive. And what’s tough is, as a believer, I signed up for mockery. I signed up for mockery from the world, and I signed up for unity with my brothers and sisters in Christ.”

“Vastly,” he added, “what I’ve seen is crickets from the world and mockery with my brothers and sisters in Christ.” Frank went on to warn Christians that the world is watching how Christians poke fun at and attack each other. He then reiterated his comment from his previous video: “There’s no seat belt on social media.”

After getting permission from Asbury to post his reaction video to Asbury’s parody, Frank shared, “Here’s the interesting thing, guys, [Asbury] had like, 5,000 comments on his page, just like, ‘Yo, you’re the worst.’ And what’s crazy is I didn’t know his story, and you don’t know his story.”

Frank then began to tell how he has gotten to hear Asbury’s story through a phone conversation. “I’ve gotten to hear this guy’s story, and within a few seconds, I felt resolution. You know, 10-15, minutes, I’m like, I think I have a new best friend,” said Frank.

Emotional, and almost in tears, Frank said:

I literally have goose bumps right now…I’m crying right now. I’m gonna cry. Bro, a few days ago, I was like, texting my friends like, Yo what’s up with Cory? And now I’m literally like, I want you to come over to my house and have dinner with my family. I want us to hang out, like I see your heart and I see your story, and I love you dog, straight up.
