Dove Award Winner Sonya Isaacs Shares How The Isaacs’ Sound Crosses Many Genres

Sonya explained, “It’s because we have roots of bluegrass. We also have our mom’s folk background, and so the influence of her, along with the country influence, and, of course, the gospel being the message. We kind of have never really fit in one genre per se of music.”

But, Sonya added, “We’ve been graciously accepted into many and that’s been an amazing thing for us.”

The Isaacs are currently touring most weekends, and Sonya said fans can expect new music from the group in the near future.
