Doctors informed Crowder that they didn’t believe his leg would be healed well enough to play the show.
“Well, what would it hurt,” Crowder asked the doctor. Crowder shared that the doctor replied, “Oh, it’s gonna hurt.”
“I’m not gonna do any any permanent harm. So don’t, don’t panic,” Crowder told the thousands in attendance. “And the upside is, I got to go on the internet machine and look up ‘super cool mobility scooter.’” He joked, “I’m going straight to Walmart after this. I don’t know about y’all but I’ve been looking at those things my whole life—[thinking] I gotta get me one of them. Here we are.”
Crowder warned that the show might get a little “charismatic” because he could start doing circles with his scooter on stage—which is hilariously did.
In addition to Crowder, TrueSong performed, Ken Ham, CEO and founder of Answers in Genesis, The Ark Encounter, and The Creation Museum, spoke alongside Ray Flynn and pastor Marc Pritchett.
That night, over 60 people gave their lives to Jesus, which brought the total to over 2,300 salvations over this year’s 40 Days of Christian Music at The Ark Encounter.
