President Trump To Award Charlie Kirk Presidential Medal of Freedom, Vows Justice for ‘Political Assassination’

“Charlie was the best of America, and the monster who attacked him was attacking our whole country,” Trump stated. “An assassin tried to silence him with a bullet, but he failed, because together, we will ensure that his voice, his message and his legacy will live on for countless generations to come.”

The president concluded, “Today, because of this heinous act, Charlie’s voice has become bigger and grander than ever before, and it’s not even close. May God bless his memory, may God watch over his family, and may God bless the United States of America.”

Charlie Kirk To Be Awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom

While delivering his speech during the 9/11 remembrance ceremony at the Pentagon on Thursday morning, President Trump announced that he will soon award Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Trump told those in attendance that “we miss him greatly,” and Trump believes Kirk’s “voice” and “courage” will live on through the “countless people, especially young people” Kirk influenced.

“The date of the ceremony will be announced, and I can only guarantee you one thing, that we will have a very big crowd,” Trump said. “Very, very, big.”
