President Trump To Award Charlie Kirk Presidential Medal of Freedom, Vows Justice for ‘Political Assassination’

Following the death of Charlie Kirk, President Donald Trump released a video message from the oval office vowing to “find each and every one of those who contributed” Kirk’s assassination.

Kirk, cofounder and executive director of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), was shot in the neck while speaking at his “American Comeback Tour” stop at Utah Valley University.

Kirk was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

During a press conference that followed Kirk death, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox referred to the shooting a “political assassination.”

Kirk was 31 years old. Kirk and his wife, Erika, celebrated four years of marriage in May. Kirk and Erika have two children together.

Within hours of the shooting, two persons of interest were detained but later released. Kirk’s assassin is currently on the run.

On Thursday, the FBI released photos of Kirk’s shooter and is offering a $100,000 reward for any for information leading to the assailant’s capture.

On Sept. 6, less than four days before his own death, Kirk said in a social media post, “Jesus defeated death so you can live.” The post has been seen nearly 20 million times and has received thousands of shares on X.
