John Piper discusses how many of us miss the point in overcoming sexual sin. In his response, Piper described the current struggle, “Our people are laid waste with sexual temptation. Why? Because our souls have shriveled up …”

Piper offers hope to those struggling, emphasizing his core belief: “Theology with passion for Jesus can conquer biology.”

His message opens with a passage from King’s David’s great Psalm of repentance: “Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and sustain in me a willing spirit.” (Psalm 51:12) In the video he says, “If you can keep your hand off that mouse, guys, the world will open up to you . . . ” He’s in favor of safeguards as protections, but says “that’s not the main point. If that’s where you fight the battle continually you’re not getting to the root of the problem.”
