Reed Bogard, pastor of Hillsong Dallas, has announced that he and his wife, Jess, are stepping down as pastors in order to pursue health and to transition into a new season in their lives.

Tony Evans instructed his congregants not to be “fully committed” to one political party thinking that God is on the side of that party. Evans advocated Christians adopt the practice of "Kingdom voting" for the upcoming presidential election.

After a pro-police caravan stopped at Dallas-area Friendship West Baptist Church, which is known for being active in the social-justice movement, the pastor demanded an apology and urged caravan organizers to work toward racial unity.

In a mission trip dubbed Operation Border Blessing, a team from Prestonwood Baptist Church delivered food, backpacks, and other items to agents and their families in El Paso, Texas.

"We will miss our boy," Botham Jean's father said at his funeral. The young man who was killed by a police officer in Dallas will be missed by many for many reasons.
