When former Christian rocker Trey Pearson came out as gay in 2016, he decided being fully himself was worth risking his 15-year music career with the band Everyday Sunday. Six years later, Pearson says his latest solo album, “Somebody You Knew,” is some of his best and most authentic music to date.

During the celebrations for Pride Month all over the world this June, the Catholic Church, guided by Pope Francis, has quietly shown welcome to the LGBTQ community, while avoiding changes to doctrine.

LGBT issues are the issues of the day. The Church cannot afford to remain silent on those issues.

Stedfast Baptist Church in Hurst, Texas is being evicted from its building after the church’s pastor, Jonathan Shelley, preached that those who practice homosexuality are “worthy of death.” 

LGBTQ values are targeting children at younger and younger ages. Here's an example. A new children's show called Ridley Jones features a nonbinary dinosaur and a character with two dads.

“Especially in America, there’s such a loneliness," says Laurence Koo. "How do I even fit into a community that’s so based on only families and married people?"

“God is the most empathetic being in the entire universe," says Caleb Kaltenbach, who observes, "Nobody is empathetic from a distance."

"You can’t only say no," says Rachel Gilson. "You have to say yes. Yes to Christ the only strength I know.”
