This week, Samaritan’s Purse, headed by evangelical leader the Rev. Franklin Graham, made its 30th airlift since Russia began its offensive against Ukraine in February.

Franklin Graham said Samaritan's Purse was sending disaster response teams to Poland, Romania and Moldova to assess how it can meet the needs of people fleeing Ukraine.

The March 24 post revealed a deep divide among evangelicals, many of whom are suspicious of COVID-19 vaccines. Graham's post kicked up a lot of dust, drawing 20,000 comments and nearly 10,000 shares.

Faithful America's petition calls on board members of Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association to fire Franklin Graham, their president and CEO. The petition says Graham was complicit in the January 6th Capitol Riots via his support of Trump's claim the election had been stolen.

A school in Kansas recently cancelled their Operation Christmas Child shoebox campaign because of complaint filed by The Freedom From Religion Foundation, a group which advocates for atheists, agnostics, and non-theists.
