Turning Point USA (TPUSA) is set to honor its fallen founder Charlie Kirk on Sunday with a memorial at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The memorial will feature President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and other cabinet members. Several prominent Christian artists will lead worship.
On Wednesday, Sept. 10, conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot and killed while speaking at a TPUSA event on the campus of Utah Valley University. Kirk was debating with an attendee of the event when a bullet pierced his neck.
Kirk was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. He was 31. Kirk leaves behind his wife, Erika, and their two small children.

Following Kirk’s death, TPUSA announced Erika would become its new CEO, and Erika has vowed to carry on her late husband’s mission and “make Turning Point USA the biggest thing that this nation has ever seen.”
On Friday, Sept. 12, authorities took into custody 22-year-old Tyler Robinson following a two-day manhunt. Robinson has been charged with Kirk’s murder. He faces several other related charges.
Prosecutors have indicated that they will pursue the death penalty.
In the days following Kirk’s assassination, vigils and tribute services have been held throughout the country at schools, churches, and public squares. Now, TPUSA is set to honor Kirk with an official memorial service.
The memorial will be held in Kirk’s home state at the State Farm Stadium, which is the home of the Arizona Cardinals and seats more than 64,000 people.

“Charlie’s life was short, but it was full. It was defined by truth, anchored in faith, and devoted to the country he loved,” reads the event description. “His legacy will endure for generations. And now he hears the words of Matthew 25:23 from his Lord and Savior: ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.’”
