President Donald Trump has again spoken about the prospect of going to heaven, this time expressing doubt that he is “heaven bound.”

The afterlife has become something of a recurring theme for the president, who in August told Fox News host Laura Ingraham, “If I’m good, I’m going to heaven. And if I’m bad, I’m going to someplace else, like over there. Right?”

When asked about what he prays for, Trump said, “Well, pray for our country. Obviously, I pray for the same thing you pray—our family and our country…and I guess we have a world. I pray for the world too.”

Later that same month, Trump brought up the topic of heaven while speaking to Fox News about his effort to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.

While Trump has often caused confusion by placing the blame for the war on Ukraine despite the fact that the conflict only began because Russia launched an unprovoked invasion into Ukraine, Trump has been consistent in expressing his desire to see the war end.

“I just want to end it,” Trump told Fox News. “I want to end it. You know, we’re not losing American lives. We’re not losing American soldiers. We’re losing Russian and Ukrainian—mostly soldiers, some people, as missiles hit wrong spots or get lobbed into cities like Kiev in town.”

“But if I can save 7,000 people a week from being killed, I want to try and get to heaven, if possible,” Trump continued.

“I’m hearing I’m not doing well. I hear I am really at the bottom of the totem pole,” the president added. “And if I can get to heaven, this will be one of the reasons.”
