ChurchLeaders spoke with Mike Signorelli of V1 Church, one of “Outreach 100’s Fastest-Growing Churches in America,” regarding the upcoming Breakers Conference being held on Oct. 25 at the NOW Arena near Chicago.

The conference speakers will include Signorelli, his wife, Julie, Jentezen Franklin, Isaiah Saldivar, Jenny Weaver, Jeremiah Johnson, and Alexander Pagani, as well as worship from V1 Worship.

Signorelli shared his heart behind the gathering, describing it as a movement calling believers out of apathy and into action.

“Livestreaming is the new seeker-sensitive,” he said, and challenged Christians to move beyond digital spectatorship and become “an army, not an audience.”

The conference will feature students from all 50 states, 100 pastors from the Chicago area, and moments of racial reconciliation, intercession, and evangelism.

Throughout the interview, Signorelli expressed concern over a generation “lulled to sleep” by social media and cultural numbness, calling the church to “pray, feed, and act” in real time. He emphasized that spiritual transformation must accompany practical action—evangelizing, feeding the hungry, and uniting believers across divides.

“What a scandalous time we’re in right now,” Signorelli told ChurchLeaders. “I mean, there’s deception in every direction, a lot of confusion. The racial divide seems to be growing, the political tension and civil unrest, protests. And in the midst of that, God is calling a remnant, a group of people to join together.”

“I feel like livestreaming is the new seeker-sensitive,” he explained. “What I mean by that is it’s so easy to just sit and watch. I mean, Charlie Kirk is assassinated, everybody mobilized for like a week. They fill up a stadium, and already the news cycle changed over, and we’re right back to conformity, right back to just, you know, keyboard warrior.”

Signorelli said, “I’ll put it like—social justice to us is putting a comment in the comment section.”

“So I’ve been literally calling people [saying], ‘Hey, we are filling a stadium in Chicago, and we’re joining together in [opening] heaven over the gates of hell,’” Signorelli shared. “We’re not running away from this situation. We’re running right toward the roar, and we’re going to worship. We’re going to proclaim the Word of God.”

VI Church’s founder and lead pastor made the comment, “The president is sending his soldiers to Chicago, but the King is sending his.”

Signorelli believes that this year’s Breakers Conference is going to be a “catalyst for more of what needs to happen in our nation.” He then encouraged, “Please do not just be on a livestream. Don’t just be commentary. Don’t just be a critic, but be an active participant in it.”
