Great leaders are great communicators. Neuroscientist Andrew Newberg's writes in his book Words Can Change your Brain that there are 12 key neuroscience based communication practices. I've included nine here with some brief comments.

I have a strong word of encouragement to the introverted pastor. Be extroverted on Sunday. You can do it.

It has been said often the leaders are readers.  This is true.  But unbeknownst to many people entering leadership, they soon learn leaders are also bleeders. And that leads to pastors who want to quit.

There are many Bible verses about leadership. They all point to Jesus as the model servant leader and provide helpful guidance for us today.

I know you’re not perfect. I’m sure you’ve made mistakes. I know you're a wounded pastor. But I want to remind you of a few things today. I hope it encourages you.
