I believe Jesus was the world’s greatest leader. I would call the Apostle Paul the world’s second greatest leader because he wrote much of the New Testament and because he spread Christianity into the the west through his missionary journeys.

Life in the local church offers nourishment, protection, and growth—all things that the shepherd needs as much as the sheep.

Sometimes sermons can feel like that – especially at the end of the message. Instead of the message making its descent in a smooth, satisfying, clear way, it’s tilting left and right, it’s dropping down and going up, and then it might even bail out of the landing, circle around, and give it another try.
