Small Group Leaders

At one point the pressing concerns of a close friend of mine caused me to pause and consider: is my church a cult?

I love my small group. I’m not just saying that because I’m the pastor and I’m supposed to.

Just as we’ve all been called to ministry, called to give of ourselves to build the church, spread the gospel and empower disciples, Jesus is calling the people who make up our church to biblical community.

You’ve seen how some small groups produce great growth in their members while other groups merely tolerate each other. What makes the difference?

December is that it is a bridge, or a grace period, between the time we are reflecting on what we are grateful for in our lives and the time where we will set new goals and focal points in our lives. The same is true for developing goal oriented groups.

Take these steps in January at the start in order to connect more people in small groups throughout the year.
