Engaging the family in the act of serving together can be one of the most transformational and meaningful ways to connect faith with everyday life and create bonds in the family that last long after their time of serving has ended.
Don’t feel like this is a “one and done” thing. Try a variety of approaches, mix and match to find the combination that fits for your community and the schedules of the families at your church. Creating space for families to spend more time together in the environment of their faith community can be one way that your church is able to connect generations in relationship for lifelong discipleship.
