More Kindergarten Bible Lessons

5. Fruit of the Spirit Farmer’s Market (Galatians 5:22-23)

Teaching Point: God grows good things in our hearts.

Activity: Set up pretend fruit stands. Each has a fruit with a spiritual lesson (Apple = Love, Banana = Kindness, etc.). Include hands-on play with toy fruit, matching games, or taste tests (if allowed).

Outside-the-box twist: Have kids “plant” seeds (real or paper) in soil cups. Label those with the fruit of the Spirit they want to grow.

6. Jesus Heals Spa Day (Mark 2:1-12; John 9)

Teaching Point: Jesus can heal our hearts and bodies.

Activity: Set up stations; for example, children can bandage a bear or wash the muddied eyes of dolls.

Outside-the-box twist: Send home a small healing kit with cotton balls, a cross sticker, and a mini prayer card.

7. Holy Spirit Wind Tunnel (Acts 2)

Teaching Point: The Holy Spirit gives us power.

Activity: Use fans, ribbons, pinwheels, and scarves to explore wind as a symbol of the Holy Spirit.

Outside-the-box twist: Build a wind tunnel using a cardboard tunnel and fans. Have kids crawl through while holding ribbons or scarves. Explain that God’s Spirit moves in us and helps us share Jesus.

These kindergarten Bible lessons teach children that God made them, loves them, and is always with them. Church workers and parents shape how kindergartners see God, others, and themselves. Young children may not remember every Sunday school story or song. But they’ll feel loved and be excited to follow Jesus.
